Disastrous knitting

Some of you might remember that I started to knit myself a bright, green vest.

Well, something went wrong along the way and it ended up full of flaws. And even though I'm full of flaws myself I decided to give it a round in the washing machine to fit for my daughter instead.

Let's just say this toy rabbit named Sander just got himself a new bathrobe.

But I'm not giving up and therefore am throwing myself on this book called "Joy of crocheting". I wonder whether it will be joy or frustration, but let's just wait and see.

I'm sorry about the vest. :( Being an American reader, I'd love to see a peek into some pages of your "Joy of Crocheting" book. :) At least the stuffie is cute....

Not good news about the vest, but great that it fits at least someone/something. We all learn from the flaws.
Your book looks very interesting

I have to say I laughed out loud at your words! Though I am sorry the vest didn't turn out. I had a similar experience with a hat I knit for Eddie. So disappointing. Sander looks great in the bathrobe!

This bunny looks so cute with your vest! And it encourages me as well not to give up on knitting and anything else regarding "learning".
Have a great day!

Oh no, what a shame! If it`s any comfort, I have a coffe cozie that used to be my daughter`s vest...

(if you`re felting something in the washing maschine, be sure to check it very often - at least every 5 minutes. Trust me, I`ve learnt the hard way).

And that book is lovely by the way, a lot of inspiration in both patterns and colours!
