Vintage Swaps: US delivery
I joined Vintage Swaps and that has been so much fun! Nancy from Summer Sky: Learning as I go treated me with some fabolous vintage items, sending it all the way from Virginia, US. For me that is very excotic, especially since I have never been over the pond:
* an old singing book from her daughter's school
* an antique children's illustration.
* a silver-plated butter knife. My 5-year old girl immidiately fell in love with it, commenting that she didn't know they had such pretty knives in the US!
* a gorgeous embroided pillow case
* a 1956 calendar handkerchief
Thanks Nancy, it's been a pleasure!

what a lovely pillowcase !
What lovely items and swaps are always so much fun!
I am considering a 2 week trip to Norway, Sweden and Finland this summer - starting in Tromso and heading to the Lofoten Islands, North Cape, Sami country etc. My only reservation = 2 weeks in a tent.....but I really do want to visit!
How fun!!
I'm so glad you liked your package! I also felt I was getting exotic vintage from you from Norway--it was a lot of fun.
This book looks great! I would love to be able to read it :)
How cool is all that?! I love the knife, too!
Åh vilken bra idé! Hur fungerar det? Skickar du något till henne i utbyte? Tack för dina gratulationer på min blogg!
I don't think I own enough vintage stuff (that I'd want to part with, anyway) to join this swap, but it looks awesome! I am in love with the cover of that book!
wonderful, I have also a great swap and made a good friend
Oh, what a wonderful swap, you must be thrilled!
