A Moving Giveaway
I'm moving, and I'll have my head down in a box all of November. If I look up it's to cry a little. Or debate a little. Do one keep one's soccer team photo from sixth grade? I need to keep my Bag Lady tendencies under control.
Therefore this Giveaway. The wool jacket is typical Norwegian style in a folkloristic pattern: add a floral skirt - and you're a boho-chic in seconds. A warm boho-chic.
Simply leave a comment and tell me what's keeping you warm! I'll use the random number generator on November the 5th. Spread the word if you like! P.S: I'll send it wherever you are in the world.

My 18mth old daughter Isla-Rose keeps me warm in the early hours when she creeps into my bed and snuggles up close. x
a warm quilt of course!
Gosh when I think about moving.....and all the packing....and 3 months later I still haven't unpacked most of my stuff.....good luck!
What keeps me warm - remembering sunny days on a beach in Greece or sitting on a roof terrace in Venice.....memories keep me warm!
This house I am in now with my family is my 26th move since I was 18. I can move at the drop of a hat (well, That is not true - I used to be able to. Now I have 3 others plus 4 animals etc etc).
Sigh. That cardi. What would keep me warm is that cardi. Especially as we are going into Summer.
(need I add that I have always wanted one of thse and just last week revisited that thought. I thought briefly about knitting one. And decided that I never would as there are too lovely and fiddly.)
PS - should I be randomly selected I am sure I could happily bundle something up to send to you in return.
I recently learnt how to crochet and my first project was a huge stripy blanket. That's keeping me warm!
Love how your flat looks in the photos. I really hope your move brings you much happiness.
Good luck with your move! What's keeping me warm: when I'm working at home in the day I try not to turn the heat on, so I wear a thick woolly jumper, a shawl tied over that, fingerless mittens and sometimes a hot water bottle (on my lap)! Your cardigan is very beautiful.
Wool socks knitted by my late mother are still keeping me warm. As you know: as long as your feet are warm, it keeps your body warm as well :)
I wish you a lot of patience for the moving!I moved 9 times in 10 years, and each time I loved to make a home from the new house!
What keeps me warm? When my three children were kids, I liked when they came to our bed on sunday mornings, and made a nest of it, the whole family under the blanket.. Today, the memory of those sweet moments keeps me warm!
That jacket is so beautiful!!!
Warm, when we, my brother and I leave home, my mum gave up us one quilt each other. Now it is on the sofa...
And be strong, all changes are difficult at first...keep warm!!
What a glorious blog...I love all that vintage stuff, and your photos are fantastic. Where are you mobing to??? We were lucky enough to live in Norge for several years, and managed to visit the Arctic bit too...what a place, escpecially Lofoten which I jsut adored. Brilliant photos, btw.
The clocks changed yesterday here in the UK so a log fire, a lap quilt and an episode of Downton Abbey keeps me warm!!

I have a blue eyed blond haired 3 year old who every night begs me to sleep with him. Sleep with me mommy and you know what I usually do because before I know it days like these will be over. I thought you had all ready moved? Beautiful Sweater!
Sadly it's the hot flushes of menopause... No, really, it's the love of family and dear friends, coffee and chocolate, soup and a fat cat called Dolce...
I would like to look like an arctic mom:)
The jacket is very nice!
Good luck with your move!
I would love to have the beautiful sweater, it would keep me warm.
Hei!
Så koslig!! :D
Nei, desverre skal jeg ikke på messa i år :(
Men dersom det er noe du ønsker strikket kan du sende meg en mail siri.havnes at netcom.no så skal jeg se om jeg rekker det til jul ;)
Oh, how beautiful. I have always wanted a sweater like that, can't wait to be snuggled up in it. What keeps me warm my 2 little grandkids as we snuggle under one of my quilts, that of course I have made. Love your blog and good luck with the move.
Since I live in the desert it doesn't get to cold here but on those few days that it does I love my fuzzy socks and my beloved hoody.

i made a post about the coats that i weared or my children weared and what i put me in mind (oh la la, sorry for a so bad aenglish).
what keeps me warm in those days is my dark blue jacket with my "octopussy" snoode (a snoode my mother knitted and has long rthreads with pearl making it look like an aquatic animal).
but you know, today and for a few days, the sun is there and the air is quite warm (it can reach 25° under shelter...).
i will try to put a photo of the colors of the landscape around my village soon.
laughs, good knitting, new yarn and my husband and children, when they are all happy!
