Our view when opening the front door every morning. But being pregnant with an argumentative pelvic means I don't have to shovel!
Found this gorgeous souvenir plate from the State of Washington (!) in between heavy snowfalls. Judging from the plate there is so much to do there! Do any of you readers agree?
We'll move in to our new house in May. The previous owners left a few things for us. Like this cookie tin, a 70s Coffe container and a couple of Figgjo egg cups.
Not to forget the lamp in the master bedroom. Beautiful.
Am shearing these at Thrift Share Monday.

Ha! Well, one of the things you can no longer do in Washington is visit the Kingdome (below & to the right of the Peace Arch on your plate)--they imploded it almost 10 years ago. I wonder how that plate got to where you are?
that's too funny that you found that souvenir plate. We will be visiting there soon in April again.
I am loving that lamp. What luck. Wish the lamps our previous owners left us were half as nice!
But, I'm surprised to hear you aren't moving until May! But I guess that gives you time to pack and get the house in good order...so all for the best, I imagine.
My husband and I lived in the state of Washington for 4 years. It really is a magical place despite all the rain. It is just too bad that it does rain so much and that their is no job for my husband there or we would live there in a heartbeat!
I grew up in Oregon--have driven up to Seattle, around the Olympic Peninsula, down the Pacific Coast, and along the Columbia Gorge and up through Spokane. These things to do are definitely from the western part of the state. It's pretty to look at, never thought of it as a place to do anything besides look at mountains and trees. I just gave away the fraternal twin of that tray--it was depicting the "things to do" in Las Vegas. I got it to put under something but decided it was too obscene to keep around the house. It was a hard decision, though!
Hi there,
I just came across your blog and wanted to let you know how much I like it. Your pics are gorgeous. I will stop by your great blog more often. Have a wonderful weekend. Greetings from Indiana...Heidi
Aaaah, look at that white fluffy snow. I want to play in that, we never see that stuff here!
I love our matching Souvenir plate finds. The Florida one is close to my heart since the place I call home ;) Neat designs on both of them.
Nice finds! and you're tenacious going out there in the snow for them!
