A Brand New Baby in the House

Tuesday morning she came, and she was in a hurry! 40 minutes after we arrived to the hospital she was there, as beautiful as can be.

Friday we were back home, and my girls are over the moon and all over her. She seems to be a calm and happy baby, sleeping and eating most of the time. She finds it hard to stay awake for more than half an hour. But that's when all of us gather around and gets to know her.

We haven't decided on a name yet, but I'll let you know as soon as we have landed. This household may have to debate a little.

Our happiness comes not for granted. Please send thoughts to the victims at the youth camp in Oslo. It's unbelievable and difficult to grasp that this has happened, and it will cast a shadow on all our lives.

I'm so thankful you stopped by to visit today, so I could tell you congratulations! As soon as I saw this, I told baby Rowan that this is the best news! We are writing this together now, while he sits in my lap and tugs at his feet.

I can just imagine how true it is to understand that happiness is not taken for granted. Amid such heaviness, this really put a big sigh of relief to our day.

Enjoy your little one! We didn't name Rowan for several days either.
