Arctic Mum Blog - Vintage hunting in the snow
Bye bye light!! We have it dark at 5 - and it seems so dark - really shouldn't complain though ;-)
I remember those days so well from growing up in Alaska.
I was in Sweden last week and there was it also soon dark, around 4pm and It wasn't used to it. When is it dark there?
Good Luck in the dark....
Your world is so strange and fascinating, seen from here..Hugs to you from the Mediterranean sea!
No worries, we will not desert you - photography light or not! Although in Aberdeen, we do (depending on the weather) have a few hours of light in the dead of winter, I look forward to any tips.
I love your blog in both light & darkness.... it always seems very cheery to me! I look forward to your Polar Night Tutorial!
Wow, these photos are great. Love the first one with the glowing windows. I could use your tips since we are confined by cold where I live. We do get cabin fever and "talk to the beaver" sometimes. ;-o
will keep checking in on your blog from NY. Its dark here by 5 now :/
Hello! Hope you're having a lovely weekend. I got to spend yesterday outdoors with the National Trust making a footpath and it was a glorious day. Today I went running and then I've been painting the hall cupboard....exciting.Yes - the photo in the blog header is fish - one is octopus and the other is bacalao (dried salted cod). They were delicious!
No worries, here's at 4.30pm is dark too.Must be hard for you in these winter months, but I can see that you always make the best of it :)
