Cool DIY To Cover For Snow

The comfort is that this snow won't be laying on the ground forever. I guess you need to be a born optimist to live here. Or you will become one pretty fast.

And to the French family who's coming to stay in our house for the summer's house exchange: I promise you it won't be like this in July!!!!! (notice great number of exclamation marks)

On the bright side: finally got around to hang my seamap, the flea market find, behind the sink as glass protection. So cool it almost makes me forget the blizzard happening outside my window as we speak.

Have a good week, everyone!

Hi, thanks for your comments! We will go to Bretagne for two weeks, to Saint-Brieuc. We found the house through the Home Exchange site where we have our house listed, and we searched for families in France with kids and car. After e-mailing lots, this breton family responded and wanted to come to Northern Norway! We pick their car up on the airport and drive for five hours to get there. This will be so much fun, and I can't wait to go! I speak French, but Arctic Dad even took French class this spring. He will be ordering the croissants then.

How funny that you are going to Saint-Brieuc ! My grandmother lived 40 years in a small village not very far and I have great memories in this area. I miss it very much (and my grandmother too of course). I could give you some "insider" tips…
