Hurrah, the 17th of May

The 17th of May is an ordinary day for the whole world, except for the tiny few living in this corner.

The constitution day celebrating the independence means parading and waving with flags in a positive, non-nationalistic way (I hope).
For my two big girls it means icecream and even more icecream. For others, like Anna, it means taking a looong nap to the sound of corps music (not blaming her, lol)

Happy weekend!

Skjønner at dere hadde en flott 17. mai. For et herlig vær vi fikk da! Også her ble det en del is. Og pølser. Storartet! Akkurat som det skal være. :-)

We celebrated with you here in London! No waving of the Norwegian flag but lots of icecream (and cake) eaten by my now-3 year old! We'll join you one day... :-) xx
