There are some things that are the northernmost where I live (University, Brewery, Catholic Church, do they deserve their own posts, maybe?). On almost 70 degrees North the Arctic-alpine Botanic Garden is another.
You wouldn't think so, but in the summer the garden is a sight of colours and flowers in full bloom. Perfect for a family outing.
And they have a cute cafe with the best waffles. Have a great week!

So, where *is* this northernmost botanic garden?
And yes, definitely do a post about all things northernmost. Especially the brewery? ;)
What a lovely place to visit!
It is indeed a lovely garden. I didn`t know they had a cafe there - sounds like a perfect place to take the family then!
It looks beautiful! I love Botanic Gardens! Will be going for a BBQ at the one here in Dundee on Thursday!
70 degrees omg--how do you get your vitamin d? southern vacations? lots of salmon? i live near the 45th and i have been miserable with a vitamin d deficiency . it's fascinating to read about your life in the arctic!
We're 53 degrees in my hometown and that's pretty far north... although we don't have midnight sun or anything!
Very, very beautiful!

Lovely visit. I came here by accident. Love your northern light. Will come soon.

The good thing about those latitudes is how the warm season explodes, and all of the growing of summer is condensed in just a few weeks, when you can see it all at once.
ppst, correct, isn't it:)?
That's true Francesca. We don't really have spring. There's just suddenly summer.
