The Arctic Cathedral in Blue

The Arctic Cathedral is coloured in blue this weekend, in awareness of the World Diabetes Day. It's so beautiful and special.

Build in 1965 the parish church is the most famous landmark of my town. The arctitecture is supposed to be resembling ice and snow.

I'm enjoying the weekend, and I can't believe Aung San Suu Kyi is free!

It's lovely! It really does look like ice, particularly with that blue colour. I have a brooch my parents bought there that represent the cathedral and it's lovely - but the real thing is even lovelier.
I agree! Long may Aung San Suu Kyi be free!

How beautiful! I'd love to see that in person. And I agree about the great news from Burma.
