A Grannies are best, no protest-house

My main partner in crime, Hege, in her renovated white dream of a kitchen. They bought the 1974 house this summer. It's got a bourgouis quality to it, like a kitchen entrance (and and object of many jokes).

The mid-century dining set comes straight from granny. How cool with a Tom Dixon lamp above!

The chairs and table have me dark, dark green with envy.

The bar came with the house. I bet Don Draper would appreciate it (and we could have a drink together).

Another granny treasure. Grannies are simply the best.

Teak and oak all along. Hege shares the house with one husband and two daughters. When she's not cracking jokes with me she's Phdeing in e-health.

The view includes the mountain top where there will be lots of fireworks on New Years Eve.

Have a great week! I'll be continuing the (endless) process of packing.

P.S: The cardigan is on it's way to Wendy in the hot Australia!

Beautiful details. Funny how a door into the kitchen is seen that way when here...who doesn't have one? ;)

Wow, that is a real 70`s house! Fun to see familiar people here - and the lovely mountain. Glad I`ll be there soon!
