The Blue Hour in the Gingerbread Village

We spent the blue hour at the public library today. It's freezing outside. There is a village of gingerbread houses there. My favourite is the slum area made by Amnesty International. To remind us how lucky we are to be free.

Will you like me run around to fix the last things this week? Note to both you and self: Breathe into your stomach.

These are great photos! It is hard to believe that is the only light you have now. So pretty, and very difficult I would think.

The gingerbread is amazing. I finish work on Tuesday so will have a few days to get things organised. 2 extra days holidays to go and help out my parents as my mum has been ill - hopefully on the mend now. But I will get the food in for the holidays, take my mum to do some shopping etc.

That's an amazing gingerbread village, and beautiful photos. I really can't quite imagine only having that much light for an hour! Luckily the year will very soon be on the turn. I have a lot on my list to do this week, but not so much of it that I can't enjoy the last few days before Christmas. I hope you can enjoy them too.

Yes! More light after today... The sun is so low here and we are only on the 45th. It seems like twilight at 2 pm. Obviously, it could be worse....

this library seems to be a very nice place to be (if it(s the same you already gave us to see), with large openingd (ouvertures en français) to have a look at the blue hour.
i think to a stupid question: is it full moon for you too? because by us, the full moon made the end of the afternoon very much luminous than usually.
meilleurs voeux!

I made everything right in time this year, I think it's the first time !And it's a good thing , because it's hardly raining since two days..:(No snow here, that's why your blog makes me dream! :)
