Busy Day Constitution Day

The Norwegian Constitution day on the 17th was spent parading, icecreaming, eating hot dogs, queeing for candy floss and catching lost helium balloons.

My beautiful girlfriends in their equally beautiful bunads.

One isn't allowed to joke around the bunad, but the colours were matching. (Please don't tell the bunad police on us)

Cake. Lots of cake.

Arctic Mum with daughter waving flags and freezing. Yes it was as cold as it looks (summer already gone?).

Russ om 17th May

The teenagers acting silly in red and blue pants are celebrating the end of 12 years in school. I once acted the same, but that's beginning to be a while ago.

Cross fingers for higher temperatures!

Update: Am featured on Best of the Web: Be@Home Blog in the US - a guide to buyers of all varieties. I'm honoured - and to new readers: Welcome!

Lovely photos! Looks like you had a really colourful, fun day. If I send my little Maia to celebrate her 17th May birthday with you one year can she please wear a beautiful bunad - or does she have to be Norsk? Would the bunad police come after us?!... Wrap up warm!

Hi Teresa!! She can come and wear as many bunads she wants, and you can too! Hope London is warmer than here, hugs.
