The vintage desk for the schoolgirl

The weekends are so hectic I can hardly turn around and breathe. I know, I have three children now. And it's even my own choice. I contributed!

Like every schoolgirl she needs a desk. Being from the flea and the 70s is only a bonus (the mother said).

Old navigation maps are fun, right? This one is from a group of islands along our long, long coast. Am thinking bedroom wall.

More blackcurrant juice production before autumn sets in for real. And Anna, she's a princess.

Have a good week, all of you!

Am sharing this post on Flea Market Finds.

There was a fat letter waiting in my mailbox when I returned from work today :) Thank you! The dish cloths are beautiful and so soft to use. Thank you again :)

I have to agree with you...every schoolgirl should have a vintage desk! In fact, all three of my kiddos have vintage school desks in their bedrooms. I love your navigation maps and putting it on the wall seems like a great idea. Did you see this post from another ATG link (http://circadee.com/2011/08/28/back-to-school/)?

The desk is perfect...a bit too orange for me...but for a schoolgirl...looks so nice.
And old maps...sea maps...adore them...
Anna is so beautiful! Big eyes...

I hear you! It is hard to find a minute these days though I wouldn't change it for anything. Great desk! Never had black current juice, but I bet it is yummy.
