Gustavsberg plate and Danish plastic box from Garant.
Figgjo souvenir plate from the 60s with picture of Sami people. A bit kitchy and slightly political incorrect today.
I've wanted a stepping stool for the kitchen sometime. By Swedish Rörens and orginally meant to help you out with the ironing. And I never iron anything. Also handy for looking up hidden cookies in cupboard.
Shearing these at Flea Market Findsand Apron Thrift Girl.

I like the Sami people plate; Why is it politically incorrect?..!
i think your antique collection is very nice. love the design.
it's been a rainy day here all day today..hope it will be sunshine tomorrow.
Yes, I'm wondering why politically incorrect as well. I love the plate in the top photo.
Love the plate with the reindeer.
Malyss and Christine: In the past the sami culture was a victim of "orientalism" (Said), in the postcolonial context, showing a simplified, exoticiced culture, much like the native Australian culture. The plate is from the 60s, and it was like that back then. However that's changed today, and they still make souvenir platters, but the perception of the sami culture has changed, and complexified. Does that make sense? Puh, need a beer now.
you did well! That step stool looks like it in fantastic shape...you got that at a thrift shop? Did you repaint?
Love your post!
