The Cure for Hormonal Invation

Pregnancy hormones have landed from outer space and invaded my body. They don't listen to common sense and have thrown my normal self into a parallel universe:

Often I'm so filled with love I could peacemake in every war there is, even the scary forgotten ones.

Not seldom I cry my heart out only thinking of those wars.

And just as often I feel like starting my own (very often, actually).

It's exchausting.

In unstable times like these there is only one person on DVD to count on: go Mr Darcy: I look forward to 5 hours of utterly safety and comfort in your company.

That's one of my most favorite movies/series.

I also recommend this version of Jane Eyre (if you need a fix of Mr. Rochester):

I'm so sorry you're on the hormone rollercoaster.

So funny, you could give Jane a run for her money in the writing department. Obviously I will remain anonymous so I don't get death threats. LOL

Sadly, I have not read this book, just seen the movie. But upon your recommendation, I shall go forthwith and seek it out!

My husband is praying for the day when I return to being me. My fuse with this pregnancy is pretty short. I just don't seem to have the patience that I normally do. With my others, I seemed to cry more. Are you going to find out the sex?

Congratulations and good reading ahead. Hope you are enjoying the return to the sun. I'd like a little heat to return here in the midwest.

As a pregnant friend of mine once said to me (very irritably) "What do they expect? I'm undergoing major cell division!!!" Enjoy Mr. Darcy. He doesn't mind your ups and downs.

Congratulations! Been there, done that, and Mr. Darcy sounds like the perfect antidose (well no not anti, more like allowing yourself to take the full rollercoaster :)

Mr Darcy, Mr Darcy, he is such a comfort. I have one other DVD that ranks alongside P&P and thats North & South. Have you seen it? Mr Thornton (aka Richard Armitage) is welcome anytime at my house. I have watched both of these numerous times.
