I just spent two days at a web conference in Oslo, as web is my day job. And you can never underestimate the healthy effect of two ego hotelnights, with breakfast all to oneself. Nor a catch-up date with a good friend. Simply a cure for tired mothers.
I like the
Royal Palace and the park around it.
Nice to get home to these two, especially when thinking of Japan. It makes me so sad. You can help
here.
Have a good week!

Glad you had a nice break .... but I know that you were glad to get home to those adorable children!
I am so glad that you had some "you" time! I loved Oslo when I visited (Midsummer 2007 and it poured with rain) and my parents actually went there on their honeymoon. My mum was just talking about the sculpture park this morning.
I'm so glad you had a wee getaway. Oslo looks very beautiful - and your children even more so.
Good for you to put a link to make contributions to Japan. I should do the same.
that sounds good in my ears
how are you doing my dear?
Sounds great - I sometimes think about booking into a hotel in Montpellier for a night just to have a rest!
When my children were kids, I used to cherish those lonely moments!so I understand your feeling perfectly!
I'm glad to see that castel, I have a picture of myself just there, 30 years younger! :)
And yes, all our thoughts are turned to Japan those days;that's so hard and sad!
The palace looks gorgeous, but boy does it look cold there. I can't believe you guys still have so much snow. I know when I tuck my children into bed each night I am so grateful they are safe. So sad about Japan.
