The White Mountain

First snow on the city mountain. What do you know.

I'm clinging on to summer by writing an article about home exchange (did you know I used to be a newspaper journalist) on a Norwegian Parenting Blog.

My friend Ida brought me this cool magazine from Australia, so inspiring.

And I took my seven year old to watch a silent movie with live music. The pianist came all the way from New York (I guess he got a shock from the mountain snow too).

I'm 39 for eleven more days. I should do something wild.

 Have a good week!

The Cure for Hormonal Invation

Pregnancy hormones have landed from outer space and invaded my body. They don't listen to common sense and have thrown my normal self into a parallel universe:

Often I'm so filled with love I could peacemake in every war there is, even the scary forgotten ones.

Not seldom I cry my heart out only thinking of those wars.

And just as often I feel like starting my own (very often, actually).

It's exchausting.

In unstable times like these there is only one person on DVD to count on: go Mr Darcy: I look forward to 5 hours of utterly safety and comfort in your company.
