Vintage gifts loveliness

Pic 1:
Vintage brooch made from milk bottle glass. So beautiful - a gift from my friend Ida in Australia. We used to live next door to eachother with our mum's.

Pic 2: She knows I like old things. I believe that vintage tea towels can be the key to happiness in one's life!

Pic 3: A Kay Bojesen original my sister gave me years ago. The teak flower stand is recently thrifted by me.

The blogging world turned friends is amazing:

Stephanie and Kay sent me gifts for Anna. Kelleyn sent us American Chocolate (very excotic for us), Carina sent me the most delicious (addictive!) French Butter when we were short. I won a print from Alessandra, and a book from Christine.

Happy weekend! I'll have the three kids all to myself. Check in on my patience level on Sunday, will you.

I love the soldier too! I hear you, my husband has been either out of town or so busy with work that I find myself at the end of my rope more than I would like.

I love all your finds! I feel the same way about vintage tea towels. :) I have a ridiculously large collection of them.

They are so lovely, especially the brooch :) I'm afraid I've been reading your blog for a while now but I never know what to say...but I just wanted to let you know I love your style and learning about life in the Arctic!
