A Sudden New View
Our neighbours were cutting down trees (as in Joni Mitchell's River, except it's not Christmas) the other day.
Suddenly we had a new, overwhelming view to the sea and my favourite mountain from the kitchen window. We're certainly not arguing with these neighbours!
Saturday I'll be selling cushion covers from vintage fabrics at a market, and lots of other vintage stuff too. Wish me luck. But I may need it more on Sunday when 13 seven year old girls will join my eldest daughter's birthday party. Oh lord, I guess it's a matter of keeping them busy.
Have a good weekend!
Sunday update: I sold eight pillow cases, and lots more! And we did survive the birthday party, it was fun!

Good luck with both!:)
Great view, good luck with the cushions and even more with the party you are brave!
Lucky you that is a stunning view! I will wish you luck because 13 children is a lot. I hope you have a little cotton for your ears. Happy Birthday to your daughter. Hope you sell lots of cushions.
Wow, what a wonderful new view! I hope your market has gone well today, and I'm sure the party will go well tomorrow. At least it isn't seven 13-year-olds!
Lovely - both the view and your pile of fabrics! I bet those cushions of yours sold like hotcakes! :-) Good luck today!!!
