Coming From America
You can't return from America without gifts, and FYI: traveling from Texas to the Arctic takes 24 hours by plane.
The big girls got a Monster High doll each, also known as Happiness in Plastic, or You Can't Have Too Many (the parents disagree). Anna got a Miffy figure, which we wonder may be too childish, as she's growing a worrying interest in the before mentioned dolls.
I got an enamel vintage rare Catrineholm plate from a second hand shop in Austin. How fun is that! Arctic Dad bought himself a pair of trainers, which is more than half price in the US.
And candy. Lots of American candy! So exotic for us.
We even broke the Only-candy-on-Saturday rule, which is the only rule we have, except not allowing the 1,5 year old eat youghurt in the sofa (but that happens too).
Have a good week, everyone - Easter soon!

Kult! Vi venter hjem Austin-farer via New York på fredag. Kanskje.
Great gifts! Enjoy the candy and the dolls! Plastic fantastic is how kids see it!
I refuse to buy Addy those dolls they give me nightmares, but I bet they are a exciting to older girls. I bet the girls were just thrilled with their loot-big girl too:)
sounds like you had lotsof fun.x
Wow, what a score! A Cathrineholm plate! I'm always on the lookout for anything CH. I'm in Tucson,AZ about as different from the Arctic as can be. We hit 90 degrees this week!
Sounds great, so many candies...and those moster high...here are also something every girl wants ;)
Your husband is so great to know just what you wanted in the vintage department! That looks like quite the treasure trove. My daughter recently got rid of her Bratz dolls, and explained to me that despite the fact that they looked so weird, what she used to love about them was doing their hair - and only that.
Thanks for your nice comment about our sale. It hasn't been all that long ago you went through the whole thing yourself!
Ooh, what lovely presents. The plate is fab. Funny how the littlest ones are always more interested in what the big girls have. We have that here too. The no yoghurt on sofa rule made me smile. My 14 month old loves to feed herself yoghurt....you can imagine the results. :)
Ja!
