Looking Forward to May

Almost May already! Two months to holiday in Belgium (yay!), a 8 year old birthday coming up, Midnight sun will be here in two weeks time, The National Consitution Day, lots of Public holidays (double yay!), asphalt on the streets to run on.

My soon 8 year old is looking forward to taking out the bicycle as she will "only have to wear a thin hat and gloves. Not mittens"

What's not to look forward too?

Melting feuilleton part II: The veranda is snow free after a family effort. We now need to get those sun deck chairs out - check back next Sunday! The garden on the other hand - the kids just decided to make a café up on the snow (10 points for noticing what's broken in this picture. Ikea is the key word).

Did you know Arctic Dad is doing a MOOC? (he just likes to have other studies going on besides full time job, three kids, MBA studies and chairman of a rock festival..) Have you tried it? It's very up and coming, isn't it. I would love to do a design history course.

Have a good week!

Nydelige bilder, som alltid! Så herlig med kafé i snøen, så godt at leken følger kalenderen og ikke været:-) Så spennende med ferie i Belgia, jeg har bodd der!
Ønsker deg en fin uke:-)

Here in the desert we will mostly likely hit 100 degrees fahrenheit this week which is about 37 celsius. I'm fascinated by the midnight sun. How long does it last? Is it hard to sleep? Do your kids adjust well to it? I hope to see experience it one day. Enjoy your holiday and happy birthday wishes.

Now I have to go look up MOOC because I have no idea what it is! I am happy that you and the girls had a little sunshine in your life today! Yahoo! Now, I am thinking I need to take my kids to Alaska, so that they can experience the land of the midnight sun. Only two of the 4 have been to Alaska, but both were babies when they went.

Wow, so many things to look forwards to - imagine going outside in just a jumper WITH NO COAT...

i love the picnic in the snow! (the idea, mind you, because i'd be frozen solid in 30 secs! :))

Oh wow, Arctic Dad is definitely keeping busy! My other half is starting Master's studies in the fall with full time job, lots of travel and family all on the side... I'm quite interested to see how that goes! :) And hurrah for May and sunshine!

Oh I know MOOCs. We have them at the university where I work. I am having to do things with the quality assurance of them. Interesting times.
